Grizzly 399's Legacy
If you are aware of Grizzly 399, you know about her tragic passing in late 2024. This is the last image I ever took of her and her yearling “Spirit”. This image means a lot to me as I shared so many amazing encounters with her in the four years, I was lucky enough to observe and photograph her and five of her cubs over that time. She meant so much to so many and I will be forever grateful for what she stood for and embodied for everyone who knew of her and her story and for the entire wildlife community.
